Classic. This is Princess Sally as she first appeared in the Sonic the Hedgehog comics, as well as the pilot episode of Sonic the Hedgehog SatAM. This piece features something I rarely do...a background that was drawn on the same page as the subject, to give off a comic book appearance showing the line art of the surroundings. Like all my full color work, this was also colored in Photoshop.

Ah, more Sonic the Hedgehog fanart. Bunnie was one of my favorite characters in the American Sonic cartoon, mainly because she was part robot, and anyone that's part robot is cool in my book. Alvin and the Chipmunks

The Chipmunks still remains one of my all time favorite cartoon series, so it's no wonder I'm always drawing them. This time I have Alvin, Simon and Theodore standing together, Alvin looking mad, Simon unimpressed and Theodore worried about something as usual. The drawing itself was done in pencil and colored in Photoshop, with a paper texture added for a vintage look.

If you're as big a Ninja Turtles fan as I am, and you truly are a child of the 80's, then you totally remember this villain. It's the evil Shredder, aka, Oroku Saki. I drew this with a Japanese brush pen and colored it in Photoshop. There's a video of the coloring process on youtube here.

Three of the coolest video game characters ever, Sonic the Hedgehog, Silver the Hedgehog and Shadow the Hedgehog. This picture was done completely with a Japanese brush pen, a fine point manga pen and a gray prisma marker. The whole thing took about 3 hours.

If there's one series I'm constantly drawing characters from, it's the Sonic the Hedgehog series. Not just the games, but all the cartoons as well. This is a rather seductive rendering of Princess Sally Acorn from the Sonic the Hedgehog SatAM series from the early 90s on ABC Kids. The background is inspired by Knothole Village from the cartoon and features some cool out of focus foliage in the distance. Comes in a protective sleeve.
